Just like a last high school reunion, a follow up chest CT is like a reunion for lung nodules. A reunion is a time for everyone to get together to see how much or how little everyone has changed.

Just like a high school reunion, the best most can hope for is that there has been little to no change since the last time everyone met.

You can be sure that those few individuals that look better than they did 10 years earlier at the previous reunion probably have a good plastic surgeon.
